PERSONAL DETAILS

Hailing from Chinchinim-Goa, I have always remained closely connected to my roots, values, and community. At 21 years, I started my first business in South Goa, running a computer sales and service business alongside other small business ventures. This early experience in entrepreneurship taught me responsibility, problem-solving, resilience, and the importance of self-employment in building strong communities.

I moved to the United Kingdom in 2014. While my professional journey took me abroad, my upbringing, values, and strong connection to Goa have continued to shape who I am and how I serve the community.

I work as a Customer Service Host at Heathrow Airport, alongside my continued involvement in business and entrepreneurship. I began my UK career as a Warehouse Administrator, later progressing to work at Heathrow Airport. Alongside my professional role, I also serve as a Workplace Union Representative, representing colleagues and standing up for fair treatment at work.

In addition, I am currently pursuing a BA (Hons) in Global Business & Entrepreneurship (Oxford Brookes University) strengthening my academic understanding of business, leadership, and governance.

I am also Founder of Navayah Films Ltd, a film distribution company, and Miss Goa International UK, in partnership with J&D Entertainment and Moqui Pictures, promoting Goan talent and culture on an international platform.

SOCIAL SERVICE

I have always believed in standing up for what is right. At my workplace, I led a campaign for fair pay and better working conditions. As a union representative, I played a key role in growing union membership and organising collective action. We participated in what became one of the largest strikes in the country, which resulted in a 12% pay rise and improved working conditions for workers.

This experience showed me that real change is possible when ordinary people come together and are represented strongly. That journey — from campaigning for workers’ rights to delivering real results — inspired me to step into local politics, where the same principles of fairness, transparency, and accountability are needed to serve residents effectively.

POLL PROMISES

Our election promise for Cranford is to work towards a Cleaner and Safer Cranford. If elected, we aim to achieve this through better management of local finances and improvements to existing services, ensuring they are more effective and better serve the needs of our residents.

We are a team of enthusiastic and dedicated individuals, committed to improving our local community, listening to residents, and delivering practical, common-sense solutions that make a real difference.

FLOYD DIAS DO ROSARIO

Wembley Hill Ward

Brent Council

PERSONAL DETAILS

Hailing from Agassaim, I come from a proud Goan background, deeply rooted in strong cultural values, community spirit, and social responsibility.

I moved to the UK in 2014 in search of better opportunities and prospects for the future. Presently, I work in the UK as a Front of House Security Officer. Although I live in the UK, I remain closely connected to Goa. From the UK, I have consistently raised my voice against wrongdoing in Goa and spoken out on issues affecting Goans, because I firmly believe that distance should never reduce accountability or concern for our homeland.

Brent is an area with a significant Goan and diverse community, where I believe honest, strong, and people-focused representation is urgently required.

SOCIAL SERVICE

I am actively involved in helping people who approach me with their casework, especially related to council matters, ward issues, administrative work, and booking appointments. Many members of the community, particularly from the Goan community, seek my support when they face difficulties navigating systems or accessing services.

Whenever possible, I also assist people who need help related to Goa, offering guidance, coordination, or support to ensure they receive the assistance they need. This community work is something I do voluntarily, driven by a genuine desire to help and stand by people in need.

POLL PROMISES

I decided to get into local politics because my area has been left behind, and many communities — especially the Goan community — are struggling without a strong voice.

After moving to Brent, I witnessed increasing anti-social behaviour, drug-related issues, fly-tipping, broken pavements, rising council tax, and constant changes that negatively affect residents’ quality of life. These problems have been ignored for too long.

What affected me the most was seeing the Goan community struggling here as well — culturally, socially, and economically.

These experiences motivated me to step forward, join politics, and contest the upcoming elections so I can fight for my community, represent their concerns, and ensure their voices are heard.

My promises would be to focus strongly on community safety and tackling anti-social behaviour, taking firm action against drug-related problems and fly-tipping, fighting for fair council tax and transparency in how public money is spent and improving local infrastructure, including pavements and public spaces.

I also pledge to stand up for Goan culture, identity, and community representation, being an accessible, honest, and accountable local representative.

I entered politics not for personal gain, but because I believe our communities deserve better. My aim is to work sincerely with residents, listen to their concerns, and bring real, positive change to Brent.
