AAP's Veej Andolan campaign gets huge response at Shirgao

PANAJI
Aam Aadmi Party is growing in number as several locals are voluntarily joining the party after the success of their Veej Andolan campaign.

At the Veej Andolan held at Shirgao, AAP leader Vibhas Prabhudesai said: "Only AAP can provide 200 units of free electricity to the people of Goa 24 hours a day and that is why Goans should cooperate and bring us to power."

He said that the Arvind Kejriwal government in Delhi is offering various schemes for free. On the other hand, the BJP government in Goa is trying to run the state by taking a loan and increasing the debt of Goa. The Delhi government is also providing free water supply to every household up to 20,000 litres per month, whereas the BJP government in Goa is still struggling to provide a proper supply of drinking water.

"If our honest party forms the government in Goa, we will provide free electricity up to 200 units. The AAP government will be committed to providing various welfare schemes to the people. AAP in Delhi has brought a change in the government schools and you’ll be amazed by the quality of education and infrastructure of these schools. While on the other hand, our Sawant-led government is not doing enough for our schools and quality of education," he said.

"During the pandemic, the Delhi government under the leadership of Kejriwal distributed free ration to all taxi drivers and also deposited Rs 5,000 in their accounts, while our taxi drivers suffered during that time and did not receive any aid from the government," he added.

He went on to say that if the Delhi government can provide free electricity, water and other welfare schemes for their citizens, then why can’t the BJP government in Goa afford all these facilities.

He also claimed that only AAP can now support the people of Goa and urged the people of Shirgao to stand and support the party to save Goa from the BJP.
