Reacting to the sharp dissent in his Cabinet over the municipal ward reservations and delimitations, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Wednesday said that these were done by the Department of Municipal Administration (DMA) as per the rules and not as per the convenience of any party, including BJP. “Everything has been done by the DMA which has followed due process”, Sawant said.
On branding and marketing of local products including forest produce, CM said this will be done by taking private agencies onboard. Project management unit which will undertake these tasks has been approved under Biodiversity board, he added.
