With the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) closing his complaints against MLA Michael Lobo and Cabinet Minister Govind Gaude, activist Sudip Tamankar has alleged that it was done under political pressure.
“I had submitted the complaints on August 8 and the same were closed in a short period, without even taking my opinion into consideration,” Tamankar said. “This only shows that no investigation was conducted and the complaints were closed under political pressure,” he alleged.
“My complaint against Lobo was based on the report submitted by TCP Minister Vishwajit Rane in the House. So, does it mean that the report was incorrect?” Tamankar posed.
On complaint against Gaude, Tamankar said that since tender was not floated for renovation of the Kala Academy, it amounted to corruption.
