OLD GOA
Chiding the government over its failure to protect the interests of Goa on Mhadei, activist Sudip Tamankar has demanded that the government should hand over the Mhadei files to him to take the legal fight ahead.
Speaking to reporters at Azad Maidan-Panaji, on Saturday, Tamankar alleged that the government is not serious about fighting the Mhadei issue legally due to which Karnataka today is allowed to divert the water of Mhadei.
“Therefore, I urge CM Pramod Sawant to hand over the Mhadei files to me at Azad Maidan and I will not only fight the case in the Supreme Court at my own cost but will also ensure Goa’s victory,” Tamankar said.
