Cortalim MLA Alina Saldanha has hailed the decision of the Bombay High Court at Goa to keep the Mini India Park Project at Quelossim on hold, based on the stop-work order and show-cause notice issued by GCZMA in 2019.
“I have been with the people of Quelossim fighting against this project since inception. I cannot allow the destruction of the village and its environment as this Mini India Park project is proposed in a Khazan land which is a “No Development Zone (NDZ),” stated Saldanha in a press note.
“There is no approval for this project from any of these authorities and yet, the proponent has been indulging in activities at the site,” Saldanha added.
