The BJP MLAs who have opposed MGP MLAs entry into the BJP government held a meeting in the Taj Vivanta late night on Monday. It is learnt from sources that BJP MLAs Ravi Naik, Subhash Shirodkar, Govind Gawde were present for the meeting. These MLAs however were not available for comment.
It may be recalled that BJP MLA Atanasio Monserrate who has opposed the MGP MLAs entry into the government had given a suggestion that MGP should merge with BJP if they want to be a part of the new government. However Sudin Dhavlikar had ruled out this suggestion. Monserrate had earlier also said that Dhavlikar has a past record of supporting the government, enjoying all benefits and finally starting monkey tricks at the end of term.
