The BJP has condemned Congress workers Friday midnight protest at a starred hotel where Union Minister was put up for a night. While reacting to the act of Congress workers BJP spokesperson Dattaprasad Naik on Saturday stated that Union Minister Prakash Javadekar is not in Goa for holiday but to address farmers issue.
Nearly a dozen of Congress workers held the midnight protest outside a five-star hotel in Panaji, where the Union Minister for Environment and Forest, Prakash Javadekar was putting up for the night.
These Congress workers including vice-president Sankalp Amonkar were detained by the police later.
“The Minister is come to address farmers in Goa unlike Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi who visit Goa for holidaying,” Naik said while reacting at a press conference on Saturday.
Naik demanded strict action on Congress workers. “Law should take its own course and strict action should be taken on law violators,” said Naik.
He said that Congress workers have set a wrong example by such an agitation that too on Gandhi Jayanti Day. “Such an act on October 2, Congress has lost its right to use Mahatma Gandhi’s name. Congress is setting the wrong example for all politicians,” said Naik.
