The Mormugao BJP Mandal on Friday launched an ambulance service and Covid helpline for people of Mormugao constituency. The ambulance was launched by Mormugao BJP Mandal President Sanjay Satardekar in the presence of councillors of Mormugao constituency on the occasion of Akshay Tritiya and Id-ul-Fitr.
"We will launch an ambulance for people from Ward 1 to Ward 9 and people can approach their respective councillors or any of the BJP Mandal members if they need the ambulance " said Satardekar.
"This ambulance will take people from their homes to MPT Hospital, Chicalim Hospital, GMC or South Goa District hospital or any other place or shift patients from these hospitals back to their homes.”
Councillor Leo Rodrigues said Urban Development Minister Milind Naik inspected the MPT hospital and arranged for oxygen quota required for the hospital.
