Stating that all nine BJP-backed candidates from his Mormugao constituency had filed their nominations on Monday, Urban Development Minister Milind Naik said the BJP would work for the victory of all 25 candidates backed by the party at the Mormugao Municipal Council (MMC) elections.
After filing their nominations, all nine BJP-backed candidates from Mormugao constituency gathered at Sada to meet Naik.
“All nine party-backed candidates from Mormugao constituency filed their nominations today. We had done this in the past and we have done it again today where all my candidates have gone together and filed their nominations,” Naik told reporters.
“We will get all our candidates elected by a good margin. We will ensure that the BJP team will work for the victory of all 25 candidates backed by the party at the MMC polls by a good margin,” said Naik.
