Beleaguered Saxttikars will have to wait for two more months before the issues plaguing the lift at the Osia commercial complex housing government departments is replaced with a brand new lift.
For, if SGPDA Chairman, MLA Krishna Daji Salkar is to be believed, the government departments functioning at the commercial complex have now agreed to contribute to foot the bill of a brand new lift, costing around Rs 15 lakhs.
He, however, has hastened to add that it may take minimum two months to procure the lift.
“After the departments functioning from the Osia commercial complex have all agreed to contribute to the purchase of the lift, we have invited quotations to procure the lift. It may take around two months to complete the formalities”, Salkar said.
