Cameroon national arrested with cocaine, cash in Siolim

PANAJI: Anjuna Police arrested 44-year-old Cameroon national Jude Boussari, a resident of Oxel, Siolim, for alleged possession and peddling of cocaine worth Rs 1.1 lakh.

Acting on a reliable tip-off, police conducted a search in Bammonwado, Siolim today, where they intercepted Boussari while he was riding a scooter. The search led to the seizure of 10.53 grams of cocaine and Rs 6.81 lakh in cash. He was immediately arrested, and all NDPS procedures were duly followed.

The Crime Branch had earlier identified Boussari as a supplier to another Cameroonian national, Nambong Fred Karl, who was arrested in a commercial quantity NDPS case (Cr. No. 85/2025) in July. A Look Out Circular (LOC) was already pending against him.

The seized drugs and cash were taken into custody under a panchanama. The FRRO has been informed to notify the Cameroon embassy regarding the arrest.
