The Chimbel Sub Health Centre (SHC) continued to achieve success on the Covid vaccination front as the number of people taking the vaccine crossed 500 on Monday.
In fact, the total number of people taking vaccines at Chimbel SHC was 526, the highest to be recorded ever since the vaccination drive was started at the centre.
Chimbel PHC Medical Officer Dr Jude D’Souza said, “The routine vaccinations at Chimbel Sub Health Centre crossed 500 for the first time after strong awareness.”
It may be recalled that Dr D’Souza accompanied by his team and the local panchas had conducted a series of awareness drives on vaccinations in Indira Nagar.
In the drives, Dr D’Souza had also taken help of religious and prominent leaders of the locality as well as the Jadeed Urdu high school.
