CM to take up Goa-centric issues with Home Minister at Haryana meet

Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said he will take up Goa-centric issues related to the home department with Union Home Minister Amit Shat at the 'Chintan Shivir' to be held at Haryana on October 27 and 28 for home ministers of the country.

Sawant said, he along with Chief Secretary Puneet Kumar Goel and Director General of Police, Jaspal Singh, will attend the conclave being organised by the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Sawant who was speaking to the media after the cabinet meeting on Wednesday, said: "I will attend the Chintan Shivir for two days and place various issues related to the Home department with the Centre."

Sawant, who holds the home portfolio, said the 2-day conclave is being held to deliberate on issues and problems of the States related to the home department.
