Covid continues to claim lives in Goa, five more succumb to deadly virus

Covid-19 continued to claim lives in Goa with five more falling victims in the 24-hours of Wednesday and Thursday.

The five deaths, all of which were reported at the GMC, have spiked Goa's pandemic toll to 597.

Of the five, a 58-year-old lady is from Altinho and another 56-year-old woman is from Karnataka.

The other three are males aged 60, 63 and 79.

Meanwhile, 233 more tested positive for Covid on Wednesday-Thursday and 194 were declared recovered.
