For the first time since the third wave of Covid-19 infections hit Goa, mortality dropped on Saturday with the State reporting a solitary death in the last 24 hours.
New daily infections also dropped below the 200 mark with just 157 new cases reported in the last 24 hours.
The positivity rate also declined to 5.3% and with 472 patients declared fully cured, the active caseload was 2,488.
