CREDAI-Goa lauds TCP ministers actions

PANAJI

TCP Minister Vishwajeet Rane's actions after chairing the first board meeting for Town & Country Planning Department were lauded by Nilesh Salkar, President of CREDAI-GOA who said, “CREDAI-GOA appreciates the initiative taken by Vishwajeet Rane, Minister for Town and Country Planning and congratulates him on the actions taken by him. The decision of appointing notary architects and deemed approvals in specified timeframe is laudable. CREDAI-GOA feels this will greatly reduce the time taken for approvals and bring in the much needed transparency in decision making. The onus of complying with the law now solely rests with the project proponents. The TCP department and the PDAs should play a larger role in adding value to the city infrastructure and urban spaces. Involvement of reputed town planners will improve quality of life in the cities. We request the government to fast track actions like these in all other departments to further increase the ease of doing business in the Real Estate Sector. We are happy that the government is acting on our suggestions to reform the mutation partition and conversion sanad procedures."
