Crime Branch of Goa Police and Women’s Police Station have arrested two persons for allegedly forcing a girl into prostitution.
Acting on information received on January 5, two teams from Crime Branch and Women PS led by PI Rahul, Manguesh and WPI Sudiksha Naik left for Arambol. The police had learnt that the accused Sarfaraz Khan from Ponda had sent one woman to Hotel Felix in Girkarwaddo, Arambol with one female accused Rehana alias Line alias Muskan Khan of Old Goa.
Upon rescuing the victim, the police traced and apprehended the two accused. A case in this regard has been registered at the Women’s Police Station and further investigation is in progress.
