The Cuncolim police has registered an offence against a resident of Paddi-Barcem village for assaulting a girl as a result of which she sustained grievous injuries on her head and face.
The victim girl complained that that accused Dilip Velip, a resident of Paddi, Barcem, entered the shop where she was working and picked up an argument over her love affair with another person.
The victim further stated that the accused person started assaulting her with fist blows and slaps on her face and further banged her head on the wall and pushed her on the floor.
She claimed that the accused further assaulted her with kicks due to which she sustained grievous injuries on her head and has left her face swollen.
Cuncolim Police Station has registered a case under section 117(2) of the BNS.
