Cuncolim man cheats Quepem resident, misappropriates Rs 12 lakh equipment

The Cuncolim police has registered a FIR against a native of Karnataka for allegedly cheating a complainant from Quepem by dishonestly misappropriating an underground tracker worth Rs 12 lakh.

In his complainant,  Ismail Kerutagi, a resident of Chandor, Quepem, and a native of Karnataka, stated that on September 24, 2025 at Panzorconi, Cuncolim, the accused person -- C H Venkata Ravi Krishna, resident of Panzorconi, Cuncolim and a native of Karnataka who was entrusted with the property i.e underground tracker (part of HDD machine) belonging to the complainant, kept in the rented room of accused person for safe custody, the accused person has dishonestly misappropriated the property to his own use and thereby cheated the complainant to the tune of Rs 12 lakh.
