PANAJI
The daily Covid positivity rate of Goa on Sunday rose inexplicably to 2.13 per cent. A total of 48 people tested positive for Covid from among the 2,243 samples tested in the last 24 hours.In the past, the number of samples tested usually dropped over the weekend.
The active Covid case count in the state has once again risen beyond 400 and stands at 406. The recovery rate remains high at 97.84 per cent.
No Covid related deaths were recorded on Sunday.
Urban Health Centre Panaji with 46 active Covid cases and UHC Margao with 54 topped the list of areas with the highest number of active Covid cases in the state.
