The Dhempe College of Arts and Science has put off examinations for the final year BSc and BA students which were scheduled for Thursday with two students reportedly testing positive for the dreaded Coronavirus after answering their first paper on Monday.
A notice issued by the College's principal Professor Vrinda Borker said the Inorganic Chemistry paper for TYBSc which was slated to be held on Thursday has been rescheduled for next Wednesday, January 27.
The notice also said Chemistry students who appeared for the first paper on Monday and were seated in a specific room no. 201 of their campus are "required to monitor themselves" for any Covid-19 related symptoms and get themselves tested.
A similar notice has also been issued by the college postponing the 'Psychological Testing' paper for TYBA students from Thursday to next Wednesday, January 27.
Similarly, the TYBA psychology students who appeared for the first paper on Monday and were seated in the specific Room no. 204 have also been advised to monitor themselves and get tested.
