In a significant leg-up to Goa government's e-governance foray, citizens furnishing digital documents to avail services will soon not have to subsequently also furnish hard copy or in physical mode as well.
In a notification issued on Friday, the government mandated that all departments and State government agencies will not ask applicants to furnish physical documents if they have shared them in digital format.
Also, the notification mandates that 'DigiLocker' is adopted by all departments and agencies to give citizens access to authentic digital documents.
