The Margao police has arrested an ex-employee in connection with the theft in the shop of the employer.
The police said they have recovered the Compaq Laptop worth Rs 35,000 at the instance of the accused.
Unknown accused had effected entry into the shop by breaking the lock system and further damaged two CCTV cameras and the monitor screens and caused loss of Rs 27,000 and further committed theft of Compaq Laptop “ Presario C700 worth Rs 35,000. Accordingly, under the guidance of PI Margao Town PS, Sachin S Narvekar, PSI Vishwajit Dhavalikar of Margao Town PS registered an FIR and took up the investigation.
