Exposition preps on track, says Revenue Secretary after review

Secretary Revenue and Commissioner, Sandip Jacques, IAS, conducted a thorough review of preparations for the Solemn Exposition of the Relics of St Francis Xavier at Old Goa. 

The review meeting was held at the Exposition Secretariat, followed by an on-ground inspection of ongoing works.

Jacques commended the efforts of the Public Works Department (PWD) for their timely completion of infrastructure, stressing the importance of maintaining high standards in all preparations. 

He also directed officials to ensure daily housekeeping and maintenance across key areas, including the Exposition village, Basilica, Se Cathedral complex, and Pilgrim accommodations.

The inspection covered several crucial facilities such as accommodation, housekeeping, parking, and signage to ensure a seamless experience for pilgrims and visitors.
