Goa reported zero Covid deaths in the 24 hours between Wednesday-Thursday evenings for the first time in 13 weeks.
The State which has among the highest per million Covid mortality rates in the country, has thus far accounted for 656 deaths of people who contracted the dreaded virus since mid-March. As many as 52 of these deaths occurred in November up to Wednesday evening.
Meanwhile, the official Covid status bulletin on Thursday said 107 more people contracted the virus in the last 24 hours.
The count of active Covid-19 positive people, either recovering in home isolation or at hospitals, was reported to be 1,728 as 192 were declared cured.
