GMC patient jumps from second floor, severely hurt

A 45-year-old patient undergoing treatment at the medicine ward of Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) in Bambolim was severely injured after he jumped off the second floor early Saturday morning.

Attendants said the patient took the extreme step as he was seemingly upset and fed up with his ailments.

The patient has suffered several injuries, they said, adding that he is being treated for those injuries.
