Burglars broke into a house near the Maruti Temple in Mangor-Vasco on Saturday afternoon and decamped with goods and cash worth Rs 2.5 lakh.

According to the distraught house owner, Bibijaan Gawari, the stolen items include three gold chains, a watch, and approximately Rs 20,000 in cash.

The burglars seemed to have gained access to the house by entering through the roof tiles. Vasco Police are investigating the case.
