Govt made mockery of Section 144: NCP

VASCO
NCP State President Jose Philip D'Souza on Wednesday accused the government of making a mockery of Section 144 and enforcing it according to their whims and fancies.

"The government has made a mockery of Section 144 and has been enforcing it as and when they want. “It is not applicable for meetings convened by BJP leaders and is not present when ministers are enjoying at functions. People have been openly criticising the government on the abuse of Section 144," said D’Souza.
