AP Spokesperson Surel Tilve on Monday said that the government should plan the industrial policy studying the job preference of locals.
"Locals prefer to work in the service sector. However, the government is giving preference to the manufacturing sector which gives employment to non-Goans," said Tilve, stating that 70 per cent of local youth are unemployed.
"What is the government doing to bring new industries?" asked Tilve.
