With three police complaints filed within 24 hours, Canacona police got into the act and on Tuesday night booked an offence regarding the porn video filmed at the Chapoli Dam.
Police took cognisance of a complaint lodged by Allabakash Kundagaol, Assistant Engineer at the WRD in Canacona, who stated that sometime before November 2, an unknown accused committed an obscene act of vulgar videography of singing and dancing in an open public space at Chapoli Dam.
Canacona police have registered a case under Section 294 IPC and LPSI Rifha Barretto is investigating.
Meanwhile, Canacona Police Inspector Tukaram Chawan has rejected accusations that a policeman had been present when the porn video was filmed at the Chapoli Dam.
“These are allegations and rumours. There was nothing of that sort. When anything happens, some people tend to bring the police in the spotlight,” said PI Chawan.
