Saligao MLA Jayesh Salgaonkar has claimed that the State government has scrapped projects worth Rs 500 crore in Saligao constituency.
“These works included the Sub Health Centre at Saligao, Rurban Mission, Circuit Road, etc., which is why development of Saligao constituency had come to a standstill,” said Salgaonkar.
He said in the last three years, he could manage to hotmix interior roads of Saligao constituency and construct retaining walls at a combined cost of Rs 80 crore.
