Soon after the Mapusa Advocates Forum raised the issue of functioning of the sub-registrar office in Mapusa, the government effected transfers of Civil Registrar-cum-Sub Registrars in the State bringing Suraj Vernekar as District Registrar (headquarters) and giving him additional charge of CRSR, Bardez while Arjuna Shetye who was the District Registrar (Headquarters) has been transferred as District Registrar (South) and will also hold additional charge of CRSR, Salcete.
Shradha Bhobe who was functioning as CRSR in Bardez has been posted as Jt CRSR-II, Bardez while Malini Sawant who was Jt CRSR-I in Bardez was transferred to Tiswadi as Jt CRSR-I.
Similarly, Prachi Naik who was the Jt CRSR-II in Bardez has now been transferred as CRSR (headquarters) and Aarti Parvatkar who was in headquarters has been posted as CRSR, Tiswadi.
Mahesh Parrikar who is CRSR of Pernem has been directed to hold additional charge of Jt CRSR-I, Bardez in addition to his duties in Pernem.
The transfer orders have been carried out in public interest.
