A Silk India’s exhibition, showcasing the artisanal heritage of handloom craft, with stress on special winter wedding collection has begun at the Ravindra bhavan, Margao.
KTC Chairman and Navelim MLA Ulhas Tuemkar inaugurated the exhibition and had appealed to the people of Goa to patronize the handloom craft showcased by the artians.
Artisans from various parts of the country are participating in the exhibition, exhibiting their ethnic weaves and traditional pure silk & cotton products in order to cater the demand of the winter wedding season with the theme, “Silk India “ Winter Wedding Collection”.
