Throwing hot water on a stray dog can land you in deep trouble and face charges for meting out cruelty for animals.
In one such case, the Colva police has registered a case against one person from Colva in connection with an incident, wherein hot water was thrown on a stray dog.
Colva police station in-charge, PI Theron D’Costa informed that the police had sent the stray for medical examination. He said since the medical report showed that the dog is critical, the police has registered a case under section 428 of the IPC and under section 11 of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act.
