Human skull found at Bogmalo

Vasco Police Station on Thursday registered a case of unnatural death under section 194 of BNSS after one skull of an unknown person was found lying at Chicolna Bogmalo.

Sources said that Vasco police got a call from one Vinay Volvoikar, a resident of Vasco informing them about the skull of an unknown person found lying at Chicolna Bogmalo

"Vasco police visited the spot of Ranghavi Estate-II, Chicolna, Bogmalo and Noticed that one skull of an unknown person was lying on the katcha road. The police further secured the presence of FSL Team and Dog Squad team and conducted scene of UD panchanama and inquest panchanama over the skull of an unknown person in the presence of two panch witnesses. Further, the police thoroughly checked the scene and surrounding area but nothing has been found. After the formalities, the said skull has been preserved at SGDH Morgue for identification and to conduct medico-legal formalities," said the source.

Further investigation is in progress with LPSI Priyanka Patil under the supervision of PI Kapil Nayak and the guidance of Mormugao DySP Salim Shaikh.
