The co-owner of Tito’s, Ricardo D’Souza said he will contest the 2022 assembly elections in the State but was unsure which party he would represent.
D’Souza also said that he has taken back his earlier decision of quitting Goa and settling abroad.
“My family including my brother is against politics but I will definitely contest the forthcoming election,” D’Souza said.
He said that he has been associated with the BJP in the past but was not sure on which party he would contest the 2022 assembly polls.
He also stuck to his commitment of offering a free apartment to every family in Calangute if he was voted to power.
He further said it was doable, and in fact, a free apartment can be given to every family in the entire Goa.
D’Souza said that he has changed his mind about settling abroad after receiving a lot of calls and appeals from the people of Goa.
“Soon after I expressed my thoughts on leaving Goa for good, I received calls from several people including the CM and MLAs. I changed my mind and have decided to stay back,” he said.
