The weather office has informed that the State may experience light rainfall and thunderstorms at isolated places in the next two days.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has said that thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and winds gusting to 30-40 kmph are very likely at isolated places on May 8 and 9.
Further the IMD has informed that weather is very likely to remain dry on May 10 and 11.
Although the IMD had predicted light rainfall at isolated places, relatively dry weather prevailed over the State on Sunday.
The highest maximum temperature of 35 degree Celcius was recorded at Panaji while the lowest minimum temperature clocked 25.5 degree Celsius in the capital city.
No specific weather and port warning was issued along the Maharashtra-Goa coast for next five days.
