PANAJI
In a notification by the Department of Urban Development, the government of Goa has nominated Kabir Filipe Pinto Makhija and Kishor Sastry as Co-opted Councillors of the Corporation of the City of Panaji in pursuance of Clause (b) of subsection 1 of Section 9 of the City of Panaji Corporation Act, 2002 (Goa Act 1 of 2003) with immediate effect.
Kabir Pinto Makhija was a Corporator at the CCP from 2011-2016. He was elected unopposed as Deputy Mayor from 2014-15. Sastry was a CCP Corporator from 2016-21.
