Only 24 new Covid positive cases have come to light at the Margao Urban Health Centre as per the government’s health bulletin released on Friday. If the health authorities on Thursday have showed a decline in active Covid positive cases by 343 after a huge spike in cases earlier in the week, the bulletin on Friday has put the number of new cases in the city to just 24.
While the total active cases in the Margao UHC was at 2,499 cases on Thursday, the cases have shot up marginally to 2,523 cases, a spike of just 24 cases in the last 24 hours.
Margao UHC officials, however, have been left to wonder over the statistics dished out by the Health bulletin when the number of persons lining up for the home isolation kits at the health centre has not declined over the last two days.
