The 41th edition of Surashree Kesarbai Kerkar Sangeet Samaroh 2022 will be held at Rajiv Gandhi Kala Mandir, Ponda from January 14 to 16. The three-day musical conference will be inaugurated by member secretary of Kala Academy Vinesh Arlekar at 5 pm on day one, January 14.
After the opening ceremony, Ritishka Vernekar (Goa) will present classical singing at 5.15 pm, followed by Pt Deepak Kshirsagar (Baroda) presenting classical slide guitar concert. After that Aarti Ankalikar (Pune) will present a classical singing concert at 7.45 pm.
On January 15 the morning session will have Dhananjay Hegde (Mumbai) offering a classical singing concert at 10.30 am followed by sitar vadan by Shakir Khan (Pune) at 12 noon. The evening session will have Sonik Velinkar's bansuri vadan at 4 pm followed by Prashant Mallik and Nishant Mallik (Delhi) presenting a dhrupad vocal concert at 5.15 pm. Sangita Katti Kulkarni from Bengaluru will present classical singing concert at 6.30 pm and at 7.45 pm Pt Yogesh Samsi, Swapnil Bhise and Chandrashekhar Gandhi (Mumbai) will present trikut jugalbandi (tabla trio concert).
On day three, January 16, the morning session will begin with classical singing programme by Nitesh Sawant (Goa) at 10.30 am followed by Pt Debashish Bhattacharya (Kolkata) on sarod vadan at 12 noon. The evening session will have classical singing concert by Manjiri Asanare Kelkar from Pune at 4 pm followed by Prasad Khaparde (Nasik)'s classical singing concert at 5.15 pm, Jyoti Hegde (Dharwad)’s Rudra Veena vadan at 6.30 pm and at 7.45 Pt Ajay Chakravarti (Kolkata) will offer classical singing concert.
