A 23-year-old resident of Khorlim, Mapusa succumbed to his injuries suffered in a road mishap, Anjuna Police informed.
According to police, the deceased Devidas Bagewadikar who was riding a bike met with a self-accident late Saturday night in Assagao.
The deceased, who was riding a Yezdi make motorcycle, crashed into a parked vehicle near the Dattarey Temple, Gongero-vaddo, Assagao, a police official informed.
He was first shifted to North Goa District Hospital Mapusa and later moved to Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim where he succumbed to his injuries early Sunday morning. After conducting the post-mortem, the body was handed over to the relatives of the deceased. The deceased was a mechanic by profession.
Anjuna Police have registered an unnatural death under section 174 CrPC.
