PONDA: Ponda police have seized liquor which was illegally being transported near the Upper Bazaar in Ponda on Saturday night.
According to reports, police intercepted a scooter, allegedly being driven by P. Parkar at about 10.30 pm. As he was unable to produce the documents for the liquor, police seized the liquor and the scooter, while also detaining him in the connection.
The seized liquor was later handed over to the officials of Ponda excise department for further investigation.
PSI Pragati Malik took action under the guidance of Police Inspector Tushar Lotlikar.
