The festival of Mahashivratri was celebrated in various temples across Bicholim taluka.
Chief Minister Pramod Sawant along with his wife, Sulakshana, performed a pooja at the Rudreshwar temple in Harwale.
Speaking on the occasion, he said the Mahashivratri festival is celebrated in the State in a grand manner and devotees from every household perform Abhishek Pooja and pray for their bright future.
Devotees thronged various places like Lingachi Kon (Bicholim), Vathareshwar temple (Vathadev) and the Mahadev temple (Wadaval). Devotees was also seen in various Shiva temples in Mulgao, Sal, Latambarcem, etc.
