A man from Mapusa has been arrested on charges of assaulting his minor children at home and also for abusing and threatening the principal, teachers and staff in the school.
The shocking incident took place at a reputed school in Mapusa
According to reports, the man had been frequently beating his 8-year-old and 5-year-old children at home, causing them injuries.
On Monday, the man went to the school where his children were studying and caused a ruckus. He is accused of having abused the principal, teachers and other school staff and threatened them with serious consequences.
The principal later filed a police complaint, and the accused was arrested for different offences. A court later remanded him to police custody for 10 days. Mapusa police are investigating the case.
