Mapusa duo booked for trespassing at Sangolda hotel

Saligao police have booked two Mapusa youth for allegedly trespassing into a hotel in Sangolda -- Casa de Catson -- and video recording the staff and guests inside without consent of the management.

The two youths -- Atmaram Gadekar from Canca and Imran from Khorlim-Mapusa -- allegedly entered the hotel around 10 pm on last Sunday and started video-recording staff and guests and also other areas of the hotel without their consent.

Both Gadekar and Imran became boisterous and threatened the hotel employees with dire consequences when they were confronted according to the complaint filed by a senior employee of the establishment, police said.

PI Rahul Parab who heads the Saligao police station has booked an FIR in the matter.
