MARGAO
The Railway Protection Force, Margao has detected an alleged case of child trading by the parents of the child and three female associates. The child is aged around six months. Police said they were caught red-handed at Margao railway station premises while in the process of striking a deal on January 21.
The RPF later handed over the matter to the Konkan Railway Police for further action. A Case has been registered against the thee female associates and child parents under section 81 of IPC and Child Care and Protection Act 2015.
Further investigation is carried out by the Konkan Railway police.
