Aam Aadmi Party has declared Matilda D'Silva as its candidate for the Navelim Zilla Panchayat elections.
Matilda has been very actively taking up issues of the needy and poor in the village besides also working for construction or repair of roads. She is also active in preserving environment and nature that she is a member of the state biodiversity board.
She has been promoting AAP agenda and programmes since 2016 and that is why she was nominated as AAP candidate.
Just as Benaulim elected a new face Hanzel Fernandes, AAP hopes Navelim will similarly elect Matilda.
