MAPUSA: A motorcycle was was stolen from the parking lot of a rented house at Sirsaim.
In his complaint, Akshay Haryan, a native of Tilakwadi-Maharashtra informed Colvale Police that he had parked his motorcycle in the parking lot of his rented house as usual on April 14 at around 1 am.
He noticed the motorcycle missing at about 10 am later that day and informed police on patrol near the Sirsaim railway station about the incident. Acting on their advice, Haryan went to Colvale Police Station and reported that his bike had been stolen.
When Haryan inspected CCTV footage outside the house, footage revealed that two burglars had stolen his motorcycle at around 2 am and proceeded towards Mapusa side. Colvale Police is conducting further investigation in the case.
