CANACONA
Locals and visitors at Palolem beach have been captivated by a large, ball-shaped object that mysteriously washed ashore and has been resting there for several days.
The heavy object reportedly appeared at Palolem towards the end of last week. Authorities were alerted after its discovery on the beach. Sources revealed that Navy officials and other agencies examined the object but denied ownership.
It is now understood that if no one claims the object, the Captain of Ports will assume responsibility for it. Sources also mentioned that moving the bulky object will require a crane due to its size and weight.
